Hydrow offers three different levels of rows -- Drive, Sweat and Breathe, each of which are designed to meet specific workout needs. Not sure what makes a 20-minute Breathe different from a 20-minute Sweat? Let us break it down for you:
Drive, Sweat, Breathe: Hydrow levels

Drive
If you’re looking for a challenge, get ready to Drive. Rows in this category are designed to test your limits by demanding your maximum effort, typically in high intensity intervals. Drive rows are the optimal choice for a number of fitness goals -- whether you’re looking for resilience training, power development, strength-building or just some high-powered cardio, Drive workouts will help get you where you need to go.
Sweat
Next up: Sweat. Workouts at this level require a moderate-but-consistent effort featuring intervals with longer rest periods; if you were asked a question, you’d be able to respond in short sentences. You’ll work hard enough to get those endorphins pumping, making these rows perfect mood-boosters. Something else to boost your mood? Sweat-level rows are toning and heart-strengthening, too.
Breathe
As the name suggests, Breathe rows are perfect when you’re looking for a workout that feels like cruising. Rows in this level require relatively low effort; you would be able to carry on a conversation comfortably while completing a Breathe row. Often described as meditative or restorative these rows are ideal for relieving stress, or getting in a light sweat on a recovery day.
Pulling it all together
Hydrow offers rows at each of these levels in 10, 15, 20, 30 and 45-minute increments, as well as 5-minute warm-ups and cool-downs that can be tacked on any row or combined with On The Mat workouts. With a library of more than 500 on-demand rows and new content filmed daily, there’s virtually endless ways to work out with Hydrow. Whether you’re looking for an intense cardio challenge, or simply want to squeeze in a quick sweat before starting your day, the perfect row is always right at your fingertips.
