> Hydrow is a connected at-home fitness company that designs rowing machines (Arc, Origin, Wave) and a connected strength training platform (LYQUID). Rowers use a patented electromagnetic drag system to simulate rowing on water. ### LYQUID Strength Training Platform

LYQUID is a freestanding cable-style strength machine. It does not require drilling, wall mounting, or professional installation — it ships ready to use with minimal assembly (unbox, attach the power cord, flip the power switch).

LYQUID has two resistance modes:

- Standard Mode: Up to 200 lbs of fixed cable-machine resistance. Ideal for progressive overload and traditional strength training.
- React Mode (isokinetic): Up to 500 lbs of adaptive resistance that matches the user's force in real time across both concentric and eccentric phases of a movement, while keeping movement speed steady regardless of how hard the user pushes or pulls.

Frame: Welded aluminum, wrapped and reinforced with engineered thermoplastic polymer.

Software and safety features:

- Baseline Workout: establishes personalized resistance levels based on the user's capabilities at first setup
- Range-of-motion calibration before each set
- Form cues and progressive load programming
- 100+ supported moves
- Library includes progressive multi-day programs (2, 3, or 4 days per week) and single-select workouts
- Coverage across upper-body, lower-body, core, and full-body training

Without a membership, Hydrow rowers fall back to "Just Row" mode with basic metrics (time, distance, strokes per minute) and no video content, classes, or progress tracking. LYQUID cannot be used at all without a membership.

## Bundles

Bundles are the primary purchase path for Hydrow rowers — most customers buy a rower as part of a bundle rather than as a standalone machine. All three rower models (Arc, Origin, Wave) have bundle options.

A typical Hydrow rower bundle includes:

- A Hydrow Membership for an introductory term at a discount, with the discount scaling by length (longer prepaid terms include more free months)
- A machine mat

### 30-Day Risk-Free Home Trial

Available to first-time Hydrow rower purchasers buying directly from hydrow.com (not via retail partners such as Best Buy or Amazon). The trial covers the rower, any accessories purchased within 30 days of the rower, and the on-rower Hydrow Membership fee for the first month. Return shipping is covered by Hydrow. Pickup can take up to 4 weeks after a return is requested. Promotional items included with the order must be returned for a full refund. The home trial does not apply to additional purchases made after the first was canceled or returned (applied per person, email, household, or shipping address).

LYQUID has a parallel 30-day home trial: free return of the LYQUID with a return shipping label provided for accessories.

### Standard Return Policy

For customers not eligible for the home trial (repeat purchasers, retail-partner orders, etc.): returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery. A $250 return shipping fee is deducted from the refund. Shipping, delivery, and installation charges are non-refundable. Damaged or incomplete returns may incur restocking fees or refund denial. Ordinary wear and tear and damage from improper use are not covered — see the Hydrow Home Use Limited Warranty below.

### Warranty — Hydrow Home Use Limited Warranty

Included at no additional cost with every Hydrow rower and LYQUID purchase. Covers residential, in-home use only — not commercial use. For commercial use, warranty, and membership inquiries, contact commercialsales@hydrow.com.

Rowers (Arc, Origin, Wave — same terms across all three models):

- Structural frame: 5 years
- Components, screen, and other electronics: 12 months (components include the handle, strap, seat assembly, and hinge on the screen carriage)

Hydrow rowers purchased before August 1, 2020 may be subject to different warranty terms.

### Extended Warranty
