For Felice, Kathy, and Harriet, this motivation came from discovering a love of rowing with Hydrow. Here’s how a newfound love of rowing helped these three members finally find their fitness stride. 

Weight loss without the pressure of perfection

“Today, I’ve found balance,” she said. “I no longer feel the need for extreme dieting. I eat without guilt or restriction. Thanks to Hydrow, I’m no longer focused on my weight—I’m focused on my strength and power.”

“Since getting my Hydrow, my health has dramatically improved,” Harriet said. “My inflammation levels have dropped significantly. My CRP and sed rate, which were once abnormally high due to my psoriatic arthritis, are now in the normal range. This is a huge win for me, as it means I’m preventing further joint damage. I’m also off my blood pressure medication, with my doctor’s approval. I no longer have to use a cane to get around during psoriatic arthritis flare-ups, and I can navigate stairs without needing to pull myself up by the handrail.” 

Meanwhile, Felice Kapfhamer, who began rowing in her 60s, was determined to find an exercise that would enhance her overall health after struggling with lower-back pain for years due to arthritis and disk issues. 

“My Hydrow rowing machine has helped me avoid becoming a couch potato and giving in to my aches and pains,” she said. “I’ve been able to be consistently motivated, striving to exercise at least five days a week for the past two years.”

Every row brings me closer to that goal, and the steady, measurable  progress keeps me fired up.”

Then there’s Felice, who has found motivation in the simplicity and flexibility of the workouts themselves.  

“Being able to complete a workout in just 15 to 30 minutes and still feel accomplished has been a game-changer,” she said. “I also appreciate the flexibility of working out when I have the time and choosing workouts that align with my energy levels and time constraints.”
