Hydrow Games 2026: Your Four-Week Challenge Starts Now

Every summer, Hydrow Members come together for one event that transforms individual workouts into a shared athletic experience: Hydrow Games.
Starting July 20, Hydrow Games returns for its third year with four weeks of exclusive workouts, community competition, and opportunities to earn limited-edition badges.
Whether you're chasing the leaderboard, building strength, or simply showing up consistently, Hydrow Games is designed for every kind of athlete.
What are Hydrow Games?
Hydrow Games is a four-week fitness challenge featuring 12 exclusive workouts across rowing, strength, yoga, and mobility.
Originally created by Dani in 2023, these challenges are built around iconic rowing race durations—2, 5, 7, and 16 minutes—giving you a taste of the same formats competitive rowers train and race in. Each event offers a different test of power, speed, pacing, and endurance while connecting you to the traditions and culture of competitive rowing.
“The clock is the challenge,” Dani said. “Every minute is yours to control, giving you a clear way to measure your progress and celebrate how far you've come year after year.”
New workouts are released each week, giving you the opportunity to train like a complete athlete—not just by pushing harder, but by recovering smarter.
At its core, Hydrow Games is about challenging yourself, discovering what you're capable of, and embracing the mindset that every athlete belongs—because lasting performance comes from pushing hard, recovering well, and showing up again.

Throughout the Games, you'll unlock workouts designed to keep you progressing. Every week brings a new opportunity to push yourself, recover well, and keep building momentum.

Earn exclusive Hydrow Games badges
Your hard work deserves recognition.
During Hydrow Games, members can earn four exclusive badges:
On the Water: Complete every rowing workout.
On the Mat: Complete every strength, yoga, and mobility workout.
MVP: Finish all 11 Hydrow Games workouts.
Cross-Trainer: Complete 1 OTM and 1 on-the-water workout from the collection.

More than a competition
Hydrow Games isn't just about climbing the leaderboard: It's about proving something to yourself.
Some Members will set personal records. Others will complete their first strength workout, stay consistent for four weeks, or simply show up more often than they ever have before.
“A wise person once said, ‘You will only reach the banana if you have the courage to climb the tree,’ and I think that’s what Hydrow Games is all about,” Mac said. “It’s a chance to step outside our comfort zones and discover a version of ourselves we haven’t met yet. You might surprise yourself!”
“Challenge yourself, have fun, and see how fast you can go,” Aisyah added. “Every race is an opportunity to learn, grow, and enjoy an incredible workout!”
Join the Games!
Hydrow Games begins July 20 and runs through August 24.
Complete workouts through Aug. 16 to earn your challenge badges, then join the community for the Live Leaderboard Closing Ceremony featuring a live Sweat workout with Dani, winner announcements, and a celebration of everything the Hydrow community accomplished together with additional Hydrow Athletes.
