All our workouts on and off the water are led by our world-class Athletes. With Hydrow, you will not only have incredible instruction, but an entire network of teammates to bond, train, and compete with through our virtually-connected Hydrow crew!

We are the only company to offer a Live Outdoor Reality (LOR)™ experience which means we stream live and on-demand workouts from our world-class Hydrow Athletes out on the water. Our Athletes are real rowers, many of whom are training for the national teams.
The concept for this machine was created by rowers and has a great blend of rowers and non-rowers on staff to help curate the authentic on-the-water workout experience. We are committed to building an experience that is both accessible and enjoyable to both experienced rowers and those trying the sport for the very first time!
We offer a large library with a wide variety of workout content. There are numerous categories so you can find a workout depending on what you are specifically looking for that day, including pilates, strength training, and yoga classes for days off from rowing! We are adding to this library every day and adding from different locations.
Hydrow utilizes reactive electromagnetic resistance along with a strong, woven strap connecting the handle to the machine (instead of a clanky chain) all within a sturdy, versatile, and sleek design.
Because magnetic resistance is a frictionless technology, Hydrow offers a uniquely quiet fitness experience compared to other popular machines which use loud fans or water tanks for resistance.
We have a leaderboard and an active Hydrow community so you have virtual teammates that you can row with and compete against.
Hydrow is nearly silent; a huge departure from the noisy and monotonous experience of traditional indoor rowers.

Hydrow All-Access Membership costs $44/month plus applicable tax and is sold separately from Hydrow rowers. Only one paid Membership per Hydrow is needed and includes:

There are two shipping and delivery options.
Standard delivery: Your boxed Hydrow Pro Rower will be delivered to your porch or outside your front door. For multi-unit buildings, the Hydrow will be delivered to the building entrance, instead of to your unit's front door. This delivery option does not include unpacking, assembly, and removal of packing materials. Four-hour delivery window.
Delivery and in-home assembly (additional charge): Your Hydrow ships with in-home delivery, which includes placement in your room of choice, including up or down one (1) flight of stairs inside your home, assembly, and removal of packaging. 4-hour delivery window.

There are three shipping and delivery options for the Hydrow Wave Rower.
Standard or Expedited Delivery: Your boxed Hydrow Wave Rower will be delivered by a small-parcel carrier like UPS. It will be delivered to your porch, outside your front door, or where you normally receive packages. This delivery option does not include unpacking, assembly, or removal of packing materials. Expedited delivery is available at checkout for an additional fee.
Delivery and in-home assembly (additional charge): Your Hydrow Wave Rower will be delivered by our network of freight carriers within a four hour delivery window. This option includes placement in your room of choice, including up or down one (1) flight of stairs inside your home, assembly, and packaging removal.

Unboxed and assembled
The Hydrow's footprint is 86" long x 25" wide (219 cm long x 64 cm wide).
The seat height is 16" (41 cm high) from the floor.
The distance from the floor to the top of the screen is 47" (120 cm high).
The Hydrow weighs 145 pounds (66 kg) and features wheels on the front leg assembly for easy maneuvering once assembled.
Stored with the Hydrow's Upright Storage Kit
The Hydrow's stored dimensions are 86" high x 25" wide x 33” long (219 cm high x 64 cm wide x 84 cm long; including the collapsed screen).
Do not store the Hydrow upright without the Hydrow Upright Storage Kit.
Packaged for shipping
The Hydrow's boxed dimensions are 91" long x 18" wide x 33" high (232 cm long x 46 cm wide x 84 cm high).
In its packaging, the Hydrow weighs 197 pounds (90 kg).
The box has inset plastic handles, making it easy for two people to carry.

Hydrow Wave's footprint is 80" long x 19" wide (204 cm long x 49 cm wide).
The distance from the floor to the top of the screen is 43" (110 cm high).
Hydrow Wave weighs 102 pounds (46 kg) and features wheels on the front leg assembly for easy maneuvering once assembled.
Stored with Hydrow Wave's Vertical Anchor
Hydrow Wave's stored dimensions are 82" high x 30" wide x 26.5" long (209 cm high x 76 cm wide x 67 cm long; including the collapsed screen).
Do not store Hydrow Wave upright without the Hydrow Wave Vertical Anchor.

Hydrow Wave's boxed dimensions are 51″ long x 20″ wide x 19″ high (130 cm long x 51 cm wide x 49 cm high).
In its packaging, Hydrow Wave weighs 128 pounds (58 kg).

Both the Hydrow and the Hydrow Wave can be safely stored upright using their respective upright storage kits and anchors.
The Hydrow’s Upright Storage Kit requires correct installation into your wall. When stored upright, the Hydrow Rower's measurements are 33" long by 25" wide by 86" high.
The Hydrow Wave has a Vertical Anchor is comprised of two parts - a wall mount and a stand. The Hydrow Wave Rower upright footprint is 26.5"x30"x82".
*The Hydrow Wave Vertical Anchor is not compatible with the Hydrow Rower.
Both Hydrow models are designed so that they can be assembled without professional assistance. However, we strongly suggest using two people during the assembly process. Please read all safety information and instructions in the Hydrow User Guide (Manual) before assembly and use. Failure to do so could result in injury, damage to your Hydrow, and invalidation of your warranty.

Hydrow offers new Members the opportunity to try the Hydrow rower risk-free for 30 days when purchased directly from the Hydrow website (hydrow.com).
If you are eligible for Hydrow's home trial, you can try your Hydrow rower and, if purchased with your Hydrow, any accessories for up to 30 days after your delivery. If you're not satisfied with your Hydrow experience, simply contact Hydrow Member Services within 30 days of delivery, and we'll arrange a free pickup of your Hydrow rower. Most people who purchase a Hydrow qualify for Hydrow’s 30-day risk-free home trial. Learn more about that here. This return policy applies when you purchase directly from Hydrow AND you are not eligible for our Hydrow 30-Day Risk-Free Home Trial.
If you are not satisfied with your Hydrow rower, you can request a return within 14 days after your delivery.
Because of the size and weight of the Hydrow rower, we do not offer a refund for any shipping, delivery, or installation charges that you may have paid for your Hydrow delivery.
Returns will be charged an additional return shipping fee of $250, which will be deducted from the total amount of your refund.
If your Hydrow is returned in damaged condition or with missing parts, or otherwise shows signs of abuse, Hydrow reserves the right to refuse a refund or charge additional restocking fees.
Hydrow's return policy doesn’t cover ordinary wear and tear, or damage caused by improper use or accidents, subject to the terms of our Hydrow Home Use Warranty.
Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method only.

Importantly, the Hydrow Home Use Limited Warranty and Hydrow's Extended Limited Warranty and Accidental Damage (Clyde Protection Plan) only apply to the residential, in-home use of a Hydrow rower. It does not apply to Hydrow rowers in commercial use; please connect with commercialsales@hydrow.com for details.
Hydrow supports ANT+ connections and this is the preferred way to pair an HRM. Many HRMs have the option to connect via multiple methods. We do have the ability to pair Bluetooth-only HRMs if need be, but this is not the optimal method.
There are a few HRMs that we have tested and confirmed to work well with Hydrow when using ANT+ connection:
Wahoo TICKR and TICKR X chest-strap models. (by ANT+ only)
TICKR FIT armband (by ANT+ only)
We have also heard numerous reports from our users that the following models function correctly with Hydrow:
Peloton HRC01 chest strap
Whoop Strap 3.0 (Note: requires a separate subscription, Bluetooth Only via Whoop App)
Note: This list is not exhaustive and there are many other models out there which will likely work just fine with Hydrow. Stay up to date with tested devices here.
The Hydrow Pro and the Hydrow Wave must be plugged in and powered on to enable its electromagnetic resistance mechanism. Without power, you will not feel any dynamic resistance.
Our resistance mechanism does not require an internet connection, but all workouts and screens (including the basic features of Just Row mode), DO require an internet connection.
We very strongly recommend using Hydrow where a strong internet connection (WiFi or Ethernet) is available. We recommend a dedicated 10 Mbps of bandwidth for Hydrow to ensure smooth streaming and a seamless connected-fitness experience. This should be well-within the capability of most homes that use a Broadband internet service (Cable, Fiber etc.)
