We invite you to join us in celebrating Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month with us this May. It is an opportunity to recognize and appreciate the significant contributions and influence Asian Americans and Pacific Islander Americans have had in U.S. and world history, culture, and more — including here at Hydrow

In addition to sharing stories from our team, we’ll have special content, playlists, and dedicated workouts all month long. From Athletes we admire and work with like our own Aisyah Rafaee - Singapore’s first Olympian in rowing - to scientists, artists, musicians, and others who inspire us, we are grateful for all the contributions Asian American and Pacific Islanders have made and continue to make every day.

Row into AAPI Heritage Month with Aisyah

We’re kicking off AAPI Heritage month by adding a special workout with Aisyah to your library on Sunday, May 1st. In this 15-minute Sweat "Embracing Cultures" Row you will build endurance with Aisyah as you learn about her experiences growing up in Singapore while listening to an all-Asian artist playlist. To learn more about Aisyah and themes she explores in her workout, check out our blog here.

Share Your Own Stories

Do you have your own AAPI heritage story to share? We want to hear it! Post in our Facebook Training Camp group or on social by tagging @Hydrow and tell us what Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month means to you.
