The YMCA is here to help you reach your wellness goals in a welcoming community of support. At Hydrow, the goal is the same - create a sense of community, improve members’ health and well-being, and ensure everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Given this, it was a perfect opportunity for partnership with both the Beverly Y and YMCA Shared Services. In June, 2024 the YMCA Beverly added 2 Hydrow Pros, Hydrow’s best-in-class rower, to their fitness space and we’re excited to show you a more in depth look.

Hydrow Offerings

With Hydrow’s commercial subscription, YMCA Members are able to experience an immersive and efficient total body workout. YMCA Members were instantly connected to Hydrow’s global community, who are ready to motivate, support, and celebrate your progress and success. Additionally, YMCA members have access to over 5,000 workouts - including rowing, yoga, pilates, strength and more - led by world-class athletes in the most beautiful places on the planet.

With a sleek aluminum steel frame, crystal clear display and patented electromagnetic drag for strokes as smooth as water, the nearly-silent Hydrow Pro feels as elevated as it looks. Hydrow rowers offer a low impact, full-body workout that engages up to 86% of the muscles – efficiency that allows users to accomplish more in less time.

YMCA Members are on Hydrow Everyday

The data speaks for itself. YMCA Members are thoroughly enjoying Hydrow. In the first 3 months, the rowers averaged 22 people per day and maxed at 41 people in one day. A total of 2,000 workouts were completed and close to 3 million meters were rowed. The usage was measured against other cardio modalities in the facility and the Hydrow Pro had 3x more usage than the Indoor Cycle machine and almost 2x more usage than the Upright bike and Ascent Trainer. This data shows the amazing performance of the Hydrow Pro.
