Hydrow x Head of the Charles Regatta 2021

Every October, one of rowing’s most renowned races takes Boston by storm. Dating back to 1965, the Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) is one of the sports’ most iconic and time-honored traditions, drawing crowds and competition from around the world. 

The HOCR is particularly important to our team at Hydrow, not only because it is held on our home river, but because it represents teamwork, dedication, synergy, hard work, and camaraderie — key pillars of our company ethos. 

Join our Hydrow crew for the three-day race on the banks of the Charles River. Our Hydrow booth will be at the Attager Row: Rowing & Fitness Expo just upstream of the Eliot Bridge. If you’re in the Boston area from October 22nd - October 24th, stop by our booth!

Meet us at the Hydrow Booth 

Hydrow will be exhibiting all weekend within the Attager Row: Rowing & Fitness Expo, located near the Eliot Bridge (approximate street address is 1071 Soldiers Field Road).

At our booth, cheer on the races (including some familiar faces), grab a photo at our photo booth, check out some limited-edition Hydrow x Head of the Charles merch, sign our special Hydrow oar with your screenname, share Hydrow with friends and family, meet members of the team, and more! 

Our booth will be open:  - Friday, October 22nd from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.  - Saturday, October 23rd from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  - Sunday, October 24th from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Sunday Races: 

- Dani in the Directors’ Challenge Mixed Eight at 3:59 p.m.

Race on the Charles 

Can’t make it to the booth? No worries! We’re inviting you to race the Head of the Charles Regatta racecourse with eight of our Athletes and a three-time Olympic medalist as the coxswain. 

Complete the Race on the Charles before 6pm ET on Sunday, October 24th (the end of HOCR racing) and earn a spot in Tuesday’s race standings along with a special-edition badge. You can find the “Race on the Charles” in the on-demand library beginning on Wednesday, October 20th. Learn more about this iconic challenge here.
