Head of the Charles Regatta update: Join Hydrow at Trillium Brewing

This year’s Head of the Charles Regatta (HOCR) weekend is all about community, and we can’t wait to celebrate together. For the first time, we’re hosting a series of events designed to bring the Hydrow community together, and help share Hydrow with others in town for the weekend.

Instead of hosting a booth at Head of the Charles Regatta, and to ensure there’s a great meeting space for the Hydrow Member community, we’re excited to partner with Trillium Brewing for a truly one-of-a-kind experience. Bring your crew and join us at Trillium Brewing’s Fenway and Fort Point locations on October 21-23 from 12-6 pm to celebrate this iconic weekend with two beloved local institutions.

While Hydrow will have a presence at both Trillium locations, our team will primarily be at the Fenway site given its proximity to the race course. Catch up with other Hydrow Members, check out a special surprise that’s been *brewing*, hop on a Hydrow to show off your skills, and get a taste for all-things Boston—it’s the perfect way to gather and enjoy the weekend.

Keep reading below for everything you need to know about our Hydrow x Trillium experience. We’ll see you there!

When is this taking place?

Stop by and see us at either location Friday, Saturday, and Sunday (October 21-23) between 12 pm and 6 pm. If you are coming from Head of the Charles Regatta, we encourage you to join us at the Fenway location which is most conveniently located.

Which locations will you be at?

We’ll be at Trillium Fenway (located in Boston’s Time Out Market at the Landmark Center, 401 Park Drive, Boston, MA 02215) and Trillium Fort Point (50 Thomson Place, Boston, MA 02210).

Will the Athletes be there?

Hydrow Athletes will be present at our Fenway location as their schedule allows. We encourage you to follow them on social media for the best updates on their whereabouts throughout Regatta weekend. For details on how to cheer on our Athletes who are racing in the Head of the Charles Regatta, check out our blog here.

Do I have to be 21+ to attend?

No. Trillium Brewing locations are family-friendly, so family members of all ages are welcome to attend. Of course, you must be 21+ (and present a valid ID) to consume alcoholic beverages.

What should I wear?

There’s no dress code, but we encourage you to rock your Hydrow gear so you can easily connect with other Hydrow Members!

Is the event dog-friendly?

Due to Boston municipal licensing and zoning regulations, dogs are unfortunately not allowed at this location, with the exception of trained service dogs.

Is food available for purchase?

Yes. Trillium Fenway is located within Time Out Market, which features a wide array of options from local vendors. Trillium’s Fort Point location features a full kitchen.

Is there parking available?

Trillium Fenway: Garage parking entrance located off of Fullerton St. The first 15 minutes are free of charge. Anything under 3 hours will be reduced to a $10.00 charge using Trillium’s validation machine. Get parking directions here.

Trillium Fort Point: There are numerous public parking garages and surface lots within a two-block radius of the Fort Point location. The closest is located at the intersection of Stillings St. and Calvin Place. There is also metered street parking on Seaport Blvd.

*We suggest taking public transportation, ride shares, or other transport modes to avoid driving this weekend due to the increased traffic and to reduce carbon emissions.
