Juneteenth 2021 at Hydrow
Juneteenth — celebrated annually on June 19th — commemorates the official end of slavery in the United States. In keeping with our commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion, Hydrow celebrates this event as a team holiday and our office will be closed Friday, June 18.
“Juneteenth is a major milestone for the United States. We want to add our voices at Hydrow to the chorus of people in the United States who remember ALL of our history – including the terrible stain of slavery – and who use this day as an inspiration for us all to do better every day. We strive to treat every person, no matter who they are or where they are from, with the respect and care that they deserve.” – Bruce Smith, Hydrow Founder and CEO
As we mark this monumental point in American history, we pause to recognize the significance it holds today for each and every one of us. It’s not enough to simply acknowledge this date; rather, it’s an opportunity to reflect and consider how we can do more as individuals and as a community to continue creating a more just and inclusive culture for everyone.
Please join us in celebrating Juneteenth with a special workout with Aquil, being released on Saturday, June 19th: 15-min Drive “Jubilee Row” from Philadelphia.
